From Rocks to Trees

After the normal Winter doldrums, coupled with a year of the Pandemic and political chaos, many of us want to get outside as the weather warms and improves.  With the hoped for future arrival of Spring in a few weeks, I decided to switch - for a while - to "Life Sciences" outside of Geology, partially for my own reasons.

During this time, I still intend to intersperse Geology, Ecology, (and related subjects) and Ecology, videos with random periods of notes and reflections.

 

The 4 Major Deserts of North America

Just a quick primer for the upcoming posts and videos on the four North American Temperate Deserts.  As most of my exposure to them has been the Chihuahuan Desert and - to a lesser extent - the Sonoran Desert, there will be bias towards these two.
