For those that might inquire, Geology is the study of the Earth and Earth Processes (and the results of those processes), so if you are embarked upon Geology as a field of study, including a Weather and Climate course is a good idea. (I am glad that I did.)

Chemical and Physical Weathering - Part 1
An important geological process, wherein rocks and their mineral components are broken down.
As it takes place near or at the Earth's surface, Chemical and Physical Weathering and Erosion are "External Processes".
As for landform effects, Weathering effects could be termed "Macro Processes" and for rock & mineral changes, those could be termed "Micro Processes".
